Construction dust gets everywhere
A remodel leaves more than trash. Fine dust coats every surface, hides in vents, and settles into grout. Regular cleaning cannot touch it. Post-construction cleanup is a different job, and we do it right.
Dust, then detail
We start top to bottom: ceilings, fans, and light fixtures first so dust falls down, not back onto clean spots. Then we wipe every surface, clean inside new cabinets, scrub grout haze off fresh tile, and wash windows free of stickers and paint specks.
Floors last
Hard floors get vacuumed with fine-dust filters, then mopped — twice. New floors scratch easy, so we use soft pads and the right products. Carpets get a deep vacuum pass to pull dust from the fibers.
Ready for move-in
When we finish, the space is ready for furniture, not just photos. Book us for the final clean after your contractor's rough clean. That is the step that makes a new space feel done.
How It Works
Step 1 — Debris removal. The big stuff goes first: protective films, stickers, leftover materials. Construction sites are messy — this pass clears the way.
Step 2 — Dust detail. Every surface wiped, often twice. Construction dust is fine and pervasive — it settles into vents, fixtures, tracks, and cabinets. We get it all.
Step 3 — Windows and glass. Stickers off, paint specks scraped, frames wiped. New glass should look new.
Step 4 — Wet rooms. Grout haze removed from tile, fixtures polished, appliances detailed. Construction bathrooms get the full reset.
Step 5 — Floors. Mopped until the water runs clear. Carpets vacuumed edge to edge. Then a final walkthrough with your project manager.
Step 6 — Resettling pass. Dust resettles for days after construction. We do a final wipe of horizontal surfaces on a follow-up pass. One visit is never enough — we plan for two.
Tampa Construction Realities
Tampa builds constantly. New homes in Wesley Chapel, renovations in Seminole Heights, commercial projects downtown. Florida construction dust is extra fine and the humidity makes it stick to everything. Our checklist covers the spots others miss: inside cabinets, on door tops, in window tracks, around the HVAC registers.
Schedule the cleanup after the punch list, not before. Cleaning too early means doing it twice. Give us the handover date and we work backward from it.
The Two-Pass Method
Construction dust defies single-pass cleaning. It is microscopic, it is everywhere, and it resettles for days. Our method: a thorough first pass, then a return visit for horizontal surfaces after the dust settles. Clients who have tried one-pass cleaners know the difference — we do not leave a dusty film behind.
We also protect what is new. Fresh paint, new floors, and new fixtures get treated gently. The wrong chemical on new surfaces causes damage. Our crews know what is safe on new construction materials.
Safety first on construction sites. Our crews wear appropriate PPE and follow site safety rules. We coordinate with the GC on access, timing, and any hazards. Professional cleanup means professional conduct on someone active job site.
The final walkthrough is where our work gets judged. We attend when requested, walking the space with your project manager and addressing any misses on the spot. Our crews carry touch-up supplies for exactly this purpose. The goal is sign-off on the first walkthrough, not a punch list of cleaning issues.
We guarantee the work. If your client finds dust or debris we missed within 48 hours, we return and fix it free. This guarantee is why Tampa contractors use us repeatedly — they know we stand behind the handover.
Keep our number for the warranty period. New construction settles and dust continues to emerge for months. A follow-up detail clean at 90 days catches what the initial cleanup could not.
